Fundraising and Outreach

Our Team, the Code Crackers, has carried out more than 10 outreach and fundraising activities. These include: showcasing the robot and FIRST at the St. Clare Annual Multicultural Dinner, presenting and fundraising several times at our Church, hosting a school-wide presentation where we presented our journey and introduced FIRST to students from K through 8th, showcasing the robot at the local Farmers' Market, and also reaching out to other FIRST teams.

School (Multicultural Dinner)

The Multicultural Dinner is a school-wide event where people share their culture and traditions with others through food. We set up a booth to showcase our robot while educating kids about FIRST and getting supporters.

Church Fundraisers

We have hosted many fundraisers in a nearby parish, selling various food and drinks. The food and drinks include chicken skewers, boba, back-to-school grams, fried rice and egg rolls.

School-wide Presentation

We presented to our school, educating and raising awareness about our Robotics Club and its future. Many students seem interested and would like to join in the future years!

Outreach to Teams

As a rookie team, we get advice and support from other experienced teams. We host online and physical meetings with other teams, such as Bellarmine 23222, Turbo V8 14259, and SHARP Face Robotics 30450.
